(The game will always advanced to 3 per turn, but we'll stick with 2 for now)We have 50 player cards and 2 are drawn per turn, which makes 25 turns.We have 4 actions per turn which makes (25 x 4) = 100 actions.If the infection rate remains 2 per turn - and that never happens - you will have (18 infections + 48 new infections) (18+48) = 66 actions spent on removing infections.(100 - 66) = 34 actions remaining.At least half your actions will be spent moving on the board: Aprox 50 Actions100 - (48+50) = 2 actions remaining.With those 2 actions you still have to cure 4 diseases.?????? Can that be done???And then you figure in that the infection rate will increase to 3 somewhere in the middle. This would add at least 12 more infections to remove.(66 + 12) = 78 infections78 out of 100 actions will be spent to remove infectionsLeaving 22 actions to move around the board and do other things.But then you have to consider epidemics and breakouts, which add a variable amount of infections to the board during a game.Yes you have to figure in that infections are removed in bunches when a disease is cured and there are cards that help in a minute ways...but still...If this game can be won, it relies more on luck than skill. This game is fun until you realize how unlikely it is for you to win. If it is winnable...And this goes for the board game as well. But at least with the board game I can alter things to make it a better and funner experience.The flaw here is that there is not enough turns and actions to complete everything. And I don't like relying on luck to win a game. Both the board game and the video game need to be tweaked in order to make it a worthwhile experience. Right now the game is deceptively fun, that is until you realize that you are just wasting time, with no reward. Just add more players cards, which would mean more turns and actions.To sums things up: Pandemic is a fun game until you realize its not. I would ask the developer of this game to consider some minor tweaks to improve the player experience. I really want to enjoy this game but without the turns needed to accomplish the objectives it is an annoyance.If the developers don't want to change the game at least make it moddable so we can change it. I will continue to play the board game because I can mod it and make it the experience I want to have.. Would love to see the addition of some of the expansions, but a solid implementation of the classic board game.. After seeing so many reveiws about this game in it's tabletop version I thought I'd give it a go digitally. The result was hours of fustration, after dozens of games I am still yet to win a single game, only buy this game if you want to experience new levels of fustration and yelling at your screen!!!. There are so many problems with this game that it's definitely not worth buying. There's too many to list, but let's just start with two for an example of how poor a port this is:1. There's no support for resolution higher than 1080.2. When you use pass and play you can't look at another player's cards.The first would be fine, you just annoyingly change the resolution when you want to play. But the second removes a major aspect of this coop game: what cards do you have, what do you need and where do you need me to go.Both of these are indicative that exactly zero thought has gone into this version of what is an undoubtedly excellent board game. This version is a stain on the franchise. Don't buy this until Asmodee start giving a crap.. Accurate copy of the real game and it's possible to play a hotseat game in a limited way. At a discount for sure, it's worth it.
